KUSNEUF garments are not made to look perfectly new. They are brought together through hand-stitching, fading, and subtle signs of wear. Within these natural traces of time lies our philosophy that imperfection ultimately creates perfection.
The number 17 represents a stage of life that remains unfinished. An age between childhood and adulthood, when we were uncertain of ourselves and the world around us, yet sincere in our emotions. KUSNEUF seeks a sense of completeness within the beauty of this unfinished state.
The patchwork features childhood portraits of various painters, capturing their vulnerable yet innocent years before they became the artists we know today. "Archive 17" is a collection that brings these imperfect moments together into something meaningful.
KUSNEUFの服は、完璧な新品のようには仕上げられていません。手縫いでつなぎ合わせ、色褪せやわずかな擦れを残しながら完成します。時間が生み出す自然な痕跡の中に、不完全さがやがて完璧さを生み出すという哲学が込められています。
数字の「17」は、まだ完成されていない人間の時期を年齢という形で表しています。大人でも子どもでもない、世界と自分自身の間で不器用ながらも純粋で、偽りのなかった17歳の瞬間。KUSNEUFは、その未完成の美しさの中に完全さを見出そうとしています。
