Founded in New York in 2021, KUSNEUF is a brand that seeks perfection in imperfection.
  
We find beauty in the marks left by hand, natural irregularities, and unexpected changes rather than in flawless, polished finishes.

The number 17 represents a time in life when we are still becoming who we are. Neither a child nor an adult, a time of uncertainty, innocence, and sincerity. KUSNEUF draws inspiration from the beauty of being unfinished.

Combining traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary perspective, we explore the natural character of materials and the textures shaped by the elements.

Our Slow Making process includes indigo and charcoal dyeing, as well as exposing fabrics to sunlight, wind, mist, dew, and rain. The subtle variations in color and texture that emerge through these processes give each piece its own distinct character.

Through dimensional patchwork, hand-stitching, painting, and other intricate handwork, we create depth and texture that cannot be replicated through uniform machine production.
